Bread laddu

ബ്രെഡ്‌ ലഡ്ഡു


Ingedients:


White bread slices                    :6
Sugar                                       : 1 cup
Cardamom powder                  : a pinch
Cashews                                  : 8 fried
Ghee                                        : 1/2tbsp
Shredded coconut                    : 3tbsp




 Method:


Powder the sugar and keep aside.
Remove the crust of the bread pieces and blend it to crumbs.   Break the cashews into small pieces.
Heat ghee in a kadai and fry the cashews,  remove it from the ghee and keep aside.
Reduce the flame and add the bread crumbs, powdered sugar and grated coconut to the kadai and mix well. Add the cardamom powder to this and mix well, switch off the flame.




 Take small even portions of this mixture and rollout into  even lemon sized  balls. Spread a little powdered sugar in a plate and put the laddus over it just to get an even coat of the sugar.
 Delicious bread laddu is ready!!
