Methi (uluva cheera) upperi

Methi leaves : 1/2 bunch
Moong dal : 2 tbsp
Raw rice : 1 tbsp
Red chilli broken : 2
Grated coconut : 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Salt to taste
Garlic : 3 cloves
Oil : 1 tbsp
Method:
Chop the methi leaves finely.
Cook the moong dal till soft and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai add mustard seeds. When it pops up add the broken chilli and rice. When the rice pops add the garlic and saute, then add the chopped methi leaves, salt and cook it in a low flame for 1 or 2 mins, do not overcook it.
Finally add the grated coconut.
It is a good side dish for steamed rice!!
