Chicken gravy

Ingredients:


Chicken boneless pieces :       1 cup     
Red chillies                     :       4
Peppercorns                  :       1tsp                  
Cumin seeds                  :       a pinch
Coriander seeds            :       1tbsp
Onion                           :       1 big  chopped     
Tomato                         :       1sliced
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Whole garam masala
Garlic                           :  2 cloves
Ginger                          :  a small piece
Turmeric pdr                : a pinch
Cashews                      : 4
Coconut scrapings       :  1/2 cup
salt to taste
Oil                              : 1tbsp


Method:

Dry fry red chillies, pepper, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and grind it with ginger,  garlic and  4 shallots(if not available, a tsp of chopped onion) to a paste.  Pressure cook chicken pieces with 1 tbsp of this paste, turmeric pdr and salt with 1/2 cup water.  When it is done grind it and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai and saute onions and add the ground masala, again saute for a while . Now add the ground chicken to this add 1/2 cup water and boil.
Soak cashews for 10mins. Grind this along with ccconut to a paste and add this to the gravy, mix well. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves. It goes well with set dosa or parotta.
