Onion : 1 no
Potato : 1 no
Garlic : 2 cloves
Ginger : 1'pc
Chilli pdr : 1 tsp
Turmeric pdr : 1/4tsp
Salt to taste
Lime juice : 1tsp
Oil : 1 tbsp
Lemon slices : 3
Method:
Here I used Barramundi, whole fish. It is a local fish in Australia. You can also use, snapper, mackeral etc.
Grind garlic, ginger together to a paste.
Clean the fish with head and tail and slit on both sides.
Mix ginger garlic paste with lemon juice, salt, chilli pdr & coriander pdr (add little oil also) and rub this mixture inside of the fish as well as both sides of the fish. Stuff the lemon slices and garlic pieces) inside the fish. Keep it for 30 mins.
Pre -heat the grill to very hot. Brush the grill tray with oil. Put the potato and onion pieces in the tray along with the fish and grill it for 10 mins. Then turn the fish and again grill for some more time till both sides of the fish turns brown.
If you dont have a grill, heat a tawa and apply some oil and keep the fish on the tawa and cook it on a low fire till the fish turns brown.
